Position Summary:

At Cambium, our spa is more than a destination-it's a journey. As a Spa Ambassador, you'll be the guide who helps guests navigate that journey with ease, warmth, and personalized attention. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on hospitality and enjoys being hands-on in delivering light wellness services. You'll help guests feel relaxed, informed, and fully supported throughout their visit-whether it's showing them to the hydrotherapy pools, setting up a paraffin wax treatment, or assisting with Normatec recovery sessions.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome spa guests, offering warm, informative guidance throughout their visit.
  • Escort guests through different areas of the spa including locker rooms, relaxation lounges, treatment areas, and specialty zones (e.g., thermal pools, saunas).
  • Provide light wellness services such as:
    • Setting up and administering paraffin wax hand or foot treatments
    • Assisting guests with Normatec compression recovery boots
    • Preparing aromatherapy or warm towel setups
  • Ensure guests are aware of amenities, schedules, etiquette, and available enhancements.
  • Monitor relaxation spaces for cleanliness, safety, and comfort.
  • Restock towels, robes, water stations, and treatment supplies as needed.
  • Communicate guest needs or special requests to spa reception or treatment providers.
  • Support team members with room turnover, laundry assistance, and guest flow management during peak times.
  • Uphold spa hygiene and safety standards throughout all guest-facing and back-of-house areas.

Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Performing basic spa service support (training provided).
  • Must be professional, punctual, and able to maintain discretion and guest confidentiality.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and peak ski season dates.

Specific Job Skills:

License/Certifications - CPR AED First Aid

Technical - Basic computer, smart phone and applications understanding helpful but not necessary.

Physical Capabilities - On feet for up to 8 hours a day. Bending over, lifting up top 25lbs, walking stairs, navigating from parking to spa during all weather and seasons.

Additional - Hours and days can be dynamic. Though we try to keep our schedules as consistent as possible, some of our times during the lighter seasons will vary.

Education/Related Experience:

Minimum education required - High School Diploma/GED

Minimum time in related position - 1 year minimum experience in a spa is a plus
