  • Salary range: $140,000 to $185,000. Overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographical location, skillset, education, and experience.

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Manager Software Development to lead our Software Product Development organization. This role is responsible for driving the development and delivery of innovative software solutions, focused on our suite of warehouse management tools. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise, a passion for team development, and a proven track record in delivering high-quality B2B and/or consumer products using modern software development practices.


This individual will lead the development team responsible for our Warehouse Management Software (WMS) suite, including web-based, fat-client, and SaaS applications.



Key Responsibilities



  • Lead, manage, and scale a team of software developers and engineers focused on building and maintaining our warehouse management suite of software tools.
  • Drive end-to-end product development using the Microsoft technology stack (.NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, Azure, etc.).
  • Oversee the delivery of web-based applications, fat clients, and SaaS solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, QA, UI/UX, and Support to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
  • Collaborate with project management, and our scrum masters to resource projects and help determine schedules for delivering those projects to our customers.
  • Champion Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and lead continuous improvement efforts across the development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and develop engineering leaders and individual contributors to grow both technical and leadership capabilities within the team.
  • Maintain a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability of software products.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in product architecture, technical direction, and long-term platform strategy.
  • Ensure code quality, security, and compliance standards are met.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align engineering efforts with overall company goals and customer needs.



Required Qualifications



  • 10+ years of experience leading and managing software development teams.
  • Strong background in Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET Core/Framework, SQL Server, Azure).
  • Demonstrated success delivering SaaS platforms, enterprise web applications, and desktop/fat client solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience scaling Agile practices across teams.
  • Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop engineering talent.
  • Experience delivering both B2B and/or consumer-facing products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.



Highly Desired Qualifications



  • Direct experience in the material handling industry.
  • Familiarity with or hands-on experience developing Warehouse Management Software (WMS) or related logistics/operations software.
