Position Summary
The Graduate Hourly position provides comprehensive administrative, research, and event coordination support for grant-related activities, faculty processes, and academic events. Responsibilities include assisting with grant initiatives through organizing events, collecting and entering data, and supporting data analysis and scholarly publications. The role manages adjunct faculty onboarding, ensuring timely submission of credentials, completion of required training and calibration, and collection of student evaluation forms. The position also supports departmental events such as Lunch and Learn sessions, presentations, and other special projects throughout the year. Additional duties include performing related tasks as assigned to ensure smooth operations and alignment with institutional goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with IOM/Portes Grant-related activity of assisting with organizing grant events, data collection, data entry, etc._x000d_
  • Provide support with data analysis and scholarly publications. _x000d_
  • Manage adjunct faculty member onboarding paperwork and process, and enter into the HR Front end_x000d_
  • Ensure adjunct faculty compliance with credential submission, completion of training and calibration, and submission of student evaluation forms._x000d_
  • Provide support for Lunch and Learn sessions, presentations, and other ad hoc events throughout the year. _x000d_
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned._x000d_

  • Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelors Degree
    Active Graduate Student at the University of Illinois Chicago
