Responsibilities

Job Description:

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying innovative software solutions for our government clients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, analysts, and project managers to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance applications that meet the complex needs of our clients. This is a fully remote position.

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):

    Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand user requirements and create intuitive, user-friendly applications.
  • Work within an agile development environment, participating in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Adapt to changing requirements and priorities by maintaining open communication with the team and stakeholders.
  • Deliver incremental improvements through iterative development cycles, ensuring timely and effective release of new features and bug fixes.
  • Integrate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring the applications meet required security standards.
  • Participate in threat modeling and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with security and operations teams to automate security testing, monitoring, and compliance checks in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Design and develop applications with scalability in mind, ensuring optimal performance under varying loads and future growth.
  • Develop applications using containerization technologies, such as Docker, to facilitate efficient deployment, scaling, and management.


Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Shall have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the Information Technology field focusing on development projects using DevSecOps and various cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)
  • Strong expertise in backend technologies, including programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or Ruby) and frameworks (e.g., Django, Spring, or Ruby on Rails)
  • Experience with database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL solutions.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and experience in developing applications compliant with government security standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA, or FedRAMP).
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum or Kanban, and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with user-centered design principles, UX/UI design, and responsive design techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • MUST BE US CITIZEN.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field (extensive relevant experience may be substituted).

  • An active Secret Security Clearance is Required
