Job Details:
Mercer University Athletics is searching for a Ticketing Operations Coordinator on the Macon campus.

Responsibilities:

The Ticketing Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the ticket sales in the athletics department. This role assists in the execution of ticket sales strategies, manages group and individual ticket requests, maintains sales databases, and helps provide a positive customer experience. This role focuses on developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maximize revenue. Additionally, the Ticketing Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Community Involvement and Fan Experience Coordinator and the Assistant Athletic Director for Digital, Production, and Fan Experience to ensure a superior game-day experience.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field and some directly related experience, which could be in ticket sales, marketing, promotions, revenue generation, and/or professional sales, preferably in a collegiate, professional, or minor league organization, are required.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier.

  • Proficiency in mining data to identify prospects.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully with internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in ticketing systems and CRM platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the athletic event schedule.
  • Ability to travel on University business and be insurable by the University's carrier.
