Ker Roles and Responsibilities



  • The Principal B&P Transformation Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, optimizing and continually improving Bid and Proposal (B&P) processes to advance B&P efficiency, quality and timeliness of delivery. Work with the B&P team to normalize the B&P process across the AV enterprise.
  • Conduct process analysis to identify areas for improvement and drive appropriate changes to structures, process, and tools. Maintain documentation and leverage or build business metrics to support data-informed decisions and enhance overall efficiency. Simplify and optimize processes in accordance with established standards and guidelines, while resolving complex system issues or technical deficiencies.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze B&P process performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work independently with internal and external teams to successfully manage challenging B&P efforts.
  • Provide functional and technical mentoring to B&P team members.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Provide technical and engineering guidance, and leadership as appropriate, to develop successful proposal solutions.
  • Promote cooperation among AV technical and business resources to accomplish successful proposal development.
  • Lead technical reviews of proposal products.
  • Conduct B&P After Action Reviews to elicit and document lessons learned and promote continuous process improvement.
  • Implement process metrics to measure B&P performance to drive data-driven process improvement.
  • Mentor operational staff in B&P and promote their timely participation to develop successful proposals.
  • Investigate and apply extant and emerging technologies to streamline corporate capture and B&P activities.


Basics Qualifications:



  • Top Secret clearance
  • B.S. degree in electrical, mechanical, software engineering or equivalent.
  • 15+ years of experience
  • Experience doing proposal development, opportunity capture, program management, proposal development, leading teams, mentoring, systems engineering,
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, and analytical practice.
