Description

The Alpha Clinic seeks to hire a highly motivated individual with research experience to provide support in this role of extensive coordination within the UCLA Health Alpha Clinic, UCLA's research infrastructure, and the Alpha Clinic Network. The position calls for independent judgment, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, problem-solving capabilities, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and tasks effectively on a daily basis.

The Program Coordinator facilitates the coordination of all program activities related to its internal operations and the CIRM requirements for operational milestones, deliverables, and evaluation/tracking. The Program Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support for the Alpha Clinic day-to-day operations in assisting research teams, coordinating/hosting internal meetings, facilitating CIRM Network meetings and symposia, collecting evaluation metrics, and executing workforce development training programs. Meeting these responsibilities is key to the success of the Alpha Clinic's research and educational endeavors.

Salary Range: $29.17 - $56.37/Hourly

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently and also
    have interpersonal skills to work with teams.
  • Demonstrated writing skills to produce wide range of documents and deliveries.
  • Experience communicating effectively and
    professionally and working with a variety of internal and external partners,
    including UCLA administrators, outside funders, policy makers and community representatives.
  • Working knowledge of evaluation, creating datasets,
    grant writing and proposal submission.
  • Strong organizational skills to successfully work on and track complex
    programs involving short deadlines and multiple tasks, in coordination with
    multiple teams to achieve program/project mission and goals.
  • Ability to seek out and learn new policies,
    procedures, and software to advance the mission of the program/project.
  • Ability to train new
    program/project managers and other staff within and external to the unit
    .
