The Vice President of Operations assists the Operations Leader with overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Business Operations area for Apple Bank's Equipment Finance (EF) Department. This position assists with the documentation, booking, and funding of new business transactions, ensuring all transactions are in compliance with internal policies and procedures governing lending and leasing activities. The individual in this position also helps with the maintenance of the EF portfolio, including but not limited to billing, cash application, reporting, the handling of state tax billing, collections and reporting, transaction modifications, partial prepayments, and final dispositions and collections. The incumbent works closely with the Operations Leader to help manage and maintain proper internal controls over all aspects of the department's operational functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Operations Leader in the documentation, closing, funding, and booking of new Equipment Finance business.
  • Assist in maintaining the EF portfolio from an operations perspective, including but not limited to insurance and UCC tracking, cash application, modifications and partial prepayments, final dispositoins and collections. .
  • Assist in the oversight of the closing process to ensure funded transactions are within the approved terms and conditions and fit within the parameters of the Equipment Finance and Leasing Product Program and that they also comply additionally with internal policies and procedures.
  • Remain current with industry trends.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

SKILLS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance required.
  • 6+ years of corporate business operations experience, particularly in Equipment Finance Strong understanding of loan/lease documentation, excellent organizational skills and outstanding leadership qualities
  • Ability to influence and collaborate.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal + written) skills.
  • Demonstrate long term commitment to the success of the institution.
