Inside Sales Representative

Position Summary:

Essential/Key Functions:

• Prepare sales quotations for sales organization and customers.
• Develop equipment cost analysis for elements of proposals.
• Process orders, provide information to order entry process, submit engineering design orders with OSS and detail, sketches, marked up drawings, etc.
• Contact vendors for cost and technical information.
• Communicate with sales force and customers.
• Investigate problem orders and provide improvement suggestions.
• Relay confirmed ship dates to sales and customers.
• Track order progress and resolve order issues "expedite orders".
• Respond swiftly and courteously to customer complaints or inquiries.
• Partner with all Aftermarket teams including but not limited to Sales, Service, Technical support to assure we provide the best customer service experience.

Competencies:

• Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of technical equipment, plastics and/or plastics machine parts is a plus.
• Proven track record of successful sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple projects in a specialty product environment.
• Proficiency in the use of PC based applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Computer Literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Other (Step File Drawings, AutoCAD, DeltaCAD, Drawing Viewer)
• Leverage SalesForce (SFDC) as a central repository, enter & update part number details to support the quote to order process.

Minimum (Required) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of inside sales experience, or a combination of education and applicable experience required.
• Basic Computer skills
