JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The WorkLink program is seeking a clinical supervisor to oversee practicum and internship students providing supportive counseling to WorkLink students. The clinical supervisor will meet weekly with assigned supervisees to oversee counseling work.

Responsibilities:

  • Know and understand all Clinic Policies.
  • Collaborate with Herr Clinic staff to ensure that WorkLink students and counselor trainees are engaged in scheduling and record keeping in keeping with Herr Clinic policies
  • Meet weekly with supervisees
  • Review supervisee recordings, and provide supervisees with constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Collaborate with WorkLink staff to identify possible psychoeducational sessions for trainees to deliver during seminar, and support trainees in developing and delivering these sessions.
  • Review and approve weekly group counseling notes
  • Oversee counselor trainee successful completion of midterm and final audit procedures to ensure compliance with Clinic policies and record maintenance.

Required qualifications:

  • Masters degree in rehabilitation counseling
  • Training and/or continuing education in clinical supervision
  • At least two years experience providing counseling
  • Appropriate licenses and certifications (e.g., CRC, LPC)

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
