POSITION OVERVIEW

Job Summary
The Regional Director of People Services role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the company's goals and objectives. This role also provides leadership and guidance to HR teams in various locations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, managing employee relations issues, and supporting talent acquisition and development initiatives. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational success.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Develops and implements People Services strategies, in partnership with Senior Leadership, that support the organization's strategic objectives.
* Conducts needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
* Collaborates with People Services leadership to develop and implement metrics and performance indicators.
* Oversees the day-to-day operations of Synchrony Rehabilitation, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of People Services.
* Manages employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
* Advises and guides senior leadership teams regarding coaching/counseling/disciplinary actions while enforcing and communicating Company policy and procedures.
* Develops and implements employee engagement initiatives.
* Identifies, recommends, implements and evaluates HR initiatives to ensures the Company's compliance with state and federal employment regulations.
* Collaborates with internal teams with the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development.
* Assists with administration of benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor Degree
Experience: 5-8 years

Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
