Role Summary

We are looking for a Mail Processing Clerk to temporarily join our team onsite in our Ridgefield Park, NJ location. In this position, you will be sorting incoming mail, scanning mail and cards into our system and performing data entry.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:




  • Keep record of incoming mail using the computer system



  • Sort and scan incoming mail and cards



  • Enter data into our computer system via scan or manual entry



  • Maintain a neat and orderly workspace and ensure that the mailroom is properly organized





Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills, and behaviours:




  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience



  • 6 months to 1 year of previous mailroom/production experience preferred.



  • Willingness and availability to work additional hours if assigned.



  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.



  • Highly organized and detail-oriented



  • Must be able to perform physical work in an office setting, which includes mobility, bending, reaching above shoulder level, and lifting and carrying moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) during the course of the workday.





Compensation




  • $20.00 Hourly
