Job Summary

The Foundations 1 (F1) Assessment and Evaluations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the development of our future physicians in the San Joaquin Valley by working closely with program leaders and faculty to ensure students have a positive learning experience in the UCSF Bridges F1 Curriculum.
In collaboration with the Chair of the Department of Medical Education, the F1 Assessment and Evaluations Analyst is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the student assessment and program evaluation activities for the medical school portion of the SJV PRIME+ program.

The F1 Assessment and Evaluations Analyst supports the implementation of the assessment program components within the UCSF Bridges Curriculum, while tracking that students are progressing and meeting competencies of the F1 phase of the curriculum. They participate in cross-team efforts for continuous quality improvement and adoption of new tools and systems to improve the overall operations of the unit.


NOTE: This is a 2 years Remote Contract 25% role (2 hours per day Monday - Friday)

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $83,700 - $125,600 (Annual Rate).

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • Minimum 3+ years directly relevant experience required.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements. Solid knowledge of health professions education program requirements. Thorough knowledge of health professions education industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of educational software and platforms. Demonstrated ability to analyze and seek solutions to enhance the user experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of data management, documentation methods used in investigating and presenting findings about the program. Skills include statistical analysis of data across databases and systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of administrative analysis and operations research. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement processes and systems. Thorough knowledge of the administrative and operational implications in a program.
  • Demonstrated experience and documented excellence in oral and written communications skills; includes active listening and critical thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Actively cooperates and supports the work of others. Ability to work productively with anyone regardless of background. Empathetic and aware of impact on others. Strong problem solving skills to assist learners and resolve issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to complete work and meet established deadlines in an accurate and timely manner, and to manage short and competing deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Master's degree in related area preferred.
