The Sales Enablement Manager is a strategic partner for Carolina Cat that drives sales productivity by developing and executing sales strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue growth for our construction, rental, and power businesses. The primary purpose of this role is to provide insightful understanding of customer opportunities, utilizing advanced qualitative and quantitative customer, competitor, and market opportunity knowledge to inform sales coverage recommendations. Responsibilities include analyzing sales data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing action plans to optimize sales performance. This role requires a strong analytical leader with exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Essential Functions
  • Lead Marketing and Sales Enablement.
  • Analyze sales metrics and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Create actionable insights for the sales organization based on quarterly review and analysis of key customer and competitor analytics.
  • Ensure optimal sales coverage within assigned territories, managing relationships with sales leadership and key business stakeholders.
  • Provide regular insights into sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities, including identifying coaching and development opportunities for the sales team.
  • Partner with VP, Sales in future growth and sustainment of strategic account program.
  • Collaborate with broader marketing team to help drive sales actions.
  • Identify and equip sales teams with the necessary tools and resources to close deals and unearth future opportunities for growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key sales leaders, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to achieve an increased market share.
  • Advance Carolina Cat Coverage.
  • Work directly with sales teams across business units to gather market insights, make coverage recommendations, and execute coverage changes on a regular cadence
  • Set clear customer tier definitions and provide visibility to tier exceptions.
  • Enable rep PAR adherence and assess rep capacity, set definitions and provide visibility to PAR exceptions.
  • Create coverage health monitoring mechanisms to assess the quality and effectiveness of the coverage model in real time for each line of business.
  • Establish a target of "coverage tier conformance" and provide quarterly reporting visibility to conformance by tier.
  • Define appropriate measure of coverage performance at branch level, by tier of coverage.
  • Glean insights into black hole, marketing assigned accounts, new customers and enable real time discovery to set up an agile coverage model with a customer first mindset.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related area of study; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively more senior responsibilities as it relates to marketing, sales, business strategy, customer experience, and CRM; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Analytical skills to report KPIs and identify trends and challenges, using data to drive actionable customer-focused insights.
  • Deep understanding of marketing and sales practices, technologies, and applications.
  • Experience with a retail-centric organization, preference for dealer or franchise-based brands.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute innovative and results-focused marketing and sales programs industry best practices that result in sustainable growth.
  • Exceptional analytical, written, oral and presentation skills with advanced PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, BT, Legal, and HR.
  • A high level of attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Must be passionate about customer experience and demonstrate a willingness to stay up-to-date with an ever-changing list of best practices, new technologies and new ideas.
Computer Skills
Successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and BI.
