Senior Data Analyst - Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA):

Mentor team members, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) and technical resource. Utilizing advanced analytical and statistical experience and taking into consideration existing context, processes, barriers, and other factors driven by business considerations, evaluate the lists of process improvement options generated by Data Analysts II and incorporate those options into recommendations to clinical/business stakeholders regarding process and outcome improvement work, resource utilization, and clinical practice patterns. Identify, define, and implement new data-driven strategies and processes for the organization. Independently oversee the remediation of project obstacles. Contribute to technical process improvement for the Enterprise Data and Analytics team, such as creating better data infrastructure for reporting, developing processes to streamline code review, and implementing technical standards.

Additional duties include: Develop metrics, retrieve data, and ensure validity of results. Propose innovative and appropriate data solutions (dashboards, reports, business intelligence tools, etc.) for the measurement of processes and outcomes. Coordinate assigned projects, including project definition, assignment of task responsibilities, setting deadlines, and all other aspects of project management. Train new team members. Advise clinical teams on new data models, testing frameworks, and documentation practices. Communicate work plans, progress, and findings. Independently gather requirements and set deadlines. Independently guide clinical teams and business stakeholders on large scope projects.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Analysis or a related field and 5 years of experience or alternatively a Master's degree in same and 3 years of experience. Experience must include working with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system, Epic Clarity, Caboodle, and Cogito, Qlik Sense, R and SQL programming languages, and Git. Salary Range: $105,000 to $139,250
