Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Expert / Lead HTM to oversee and support the lifecycle management of medical devices and medical device systems (MD/MDS) across diverse healthcare environments. This role is critical in supporting Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs and ensuring the safe, effective, and compliant use of medical technologies.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage, maintain, and/or design medical devices used in various healthcare settings including home care, field operations, clinics, and hospitals
  • Provide oversight and guidance on medical equipment involved in diagnosis, treatment, and patient monitoring
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the full lifecycle of medical devices
  • Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to support sustainment strategies for advanced development projects
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and best practices in HTM
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in HTM for DoD acquisition programs

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of medical device regulations and standards
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with asset management systems and data analytics tools
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and interoperability issues related to medical devices

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or possess a valid certification issued by AAMI, ACCE, PMI.
  • Minimum 7 to 9 years' experience in managing implementation of medical devices/medical device systems (MD/MDS) projects and experience in medical device systems analysis and maintenance management.
  • Must be able to obtain a CAC.
  • US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with asset management systems and data analytics tools
  • Knowledge and experience with DoD Acquisition Processes
  • Knowledge and proficiency in the use of systems such as DMLSS, GCSS-A, AESIP, and TEWLS

Pay and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $100,000.00 - $110,000.00.
