In the Budget Analyst IV position, you will play a critical role in ensuring budget accuracy, compliance and alignment with company strategy. In the role you will showcase strong analytical skills, advanced excel experience, and familiarity with both government and commercial healthcare contracting environments.

About The Position



  • Lead the budget and forecasting lifecycle for multiple legal entities and business lines.
  • Coordinate with various departments and executives to develop and maintain project and financial budgets for departments, contracts, and corporate services.
  • Use ERP to enter, track, and report on budget, forecast and project plan data.
  • Conduct variance analysis comparing actuals to budgets and forecasts, providing insights on trends and risks.
  • Accurately budget for costs associated for R&D, including labor and materials.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis for leadership utilizing BI tools.
  • Support forecast modeling efforts, including scenario planning and multiyear projections.
  • Collaborate with pricing, project managers, and accounting on direct and indirect rate planning.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and external regulations.
  • Support internal and external audit requests related to budget documentation.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and long-term financial modeling.
  • Serve as strategic finance partner to executive leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Design and refine budget, forecast and project planning artifacts.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives in financial planning and analysis.
  • Serve as strategic finance partner to executive leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Prepare monthly business reviews by compiling and analyzing financial data, preparing presentations, and providing strategic insights to stakeholders.



Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of budget analyst or similar experience
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and analytical skills
  • Experience in project budgeting and ERP-based reporting
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and ERP (e.g., Unanet or other project-based systems)
  • Federal contracting compliance and regulation experience preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
