Join us as we continue this momentum into 2025 and beyond. The Opportunity We're looking for a dynamic and driven Strategic Account Manager to join our high-performing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a purpose-driven environment and is passionate about delivering value through sustainable solutions. In this role you'll make an impact by:
Driving the overall strategic direction of key food accounts, contributing to financial planning and long-term growth. Facilitating and driving innovation partnerships with customers Focusing on identifying business opportunities, managing an ever-growing Pipeline of projects. Translating customer needs and industry developments into actionable sales opportunities. Managing internal stakeholders across regional and global account teams. Building and maintaining multi-layered sales relationships, including executive-level engagement. Applying a customer-driven sales approach, aligned with Novonesis support functions. Working closely with Technical Services and Marketing, focusing collaboration effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Leading and executing account plans, including pricing, demand planning, and innovation roadmaps. Providing market intelligence to Regional and Global Marketing, including insights on competitors, customer trends, and industry dynamics.
To succeed you must hold:
Education: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Business, Food Science, or a technical field; MBA is a plus. Experience: +8 years in strategic sales or account management, preferably in the food, baking, or biochemical industries. Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse teams and cultures. Able to challenge perspectives from senior stakeholders and integrate with senior executives Proven ability to manage complex accounts and influence without direct authority Familiarity and discipline with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), account planning tools, and market analytics. Ability to travel up to 60%
