Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Warehouse Team Lead. This role is an Individual contributor acting as a liaison between building supervisors and frontline workers. The warehouse team leader will have the ability to perform all daily activities of frontline workers with the ability to train and work in those roles as needed. What you will do:

• Support management in the training and developing of frontline workers, resource allocation, adherence to procedures, and achieving productivity and quality goals.
• Act as the initial point of contact for associate questions and concerns and provide leadership to trouble shoot common questions or concerns.
• Maintain a safe work environment by conducting regular audits.
• Remedy unsafe work conditions quickly or report unsafe work conditions to ensure quick and safe resolution to enable a smooth flow of operation while maintaining employee health and wellbeing
• Assists in enforcing safety guidelines and procedures for the team to ensure the health and well being of employees
• Communicating with other team leaders to coordinate work activities across departments
• Inform workers of management conditions of work, rules and regulation, and company standards to ensure that they adhere to company policies. Escalate deviations from set expectations to management for potential disciplinary measures
• Establishes or adjusts work schedules to meet production needs
• Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve logistics processes. Suggesting changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
• May be required to be on an on-call rotation
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of Distribution experience required including experience with industry vehicles

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Ability to learn how to operate power equipment

• Ability to read and understand written English

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of Distribution experience

• Experience operating pallet jack, order picker, counterbalance, reach and turret trucks

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $24.00-$30.00 in PA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
