Project Manager Analyst - JLL

What this job involves: As a Data Analyst at JLL, you will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and presenting construction project data to drive informed business decisions and support project outcomes. You'll practice self-leadership while promoting learning in others by building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, communicating information, and providing advice to drive projects forward. Your role involves developing advanced analytical and statistical models that enable informed business decisions while designing, implementing, and automating business and reporting solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure data quality and accuracy while creating complex models that lead to actionable insights. Your expertise in collecting and organizing construction project data will help "tell a story" and present compelling data narratives to support strategic decision-making.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Gathering data and information on targeted variables by validating data sources, querying, merging, and extracting data across internal and external sources
  • Preparing data for analytic efforts by integrating and consolidating data while ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Leading the development of advanced analytical and statistical models by determining data requirements and translating models for stakeholder implementation
  • Designing, implementing, and automating business and reporting solutions while partnering with stakeholders on design and planning
  • Collecting and organizing construction project data to create compelling narratives and present data-driven stories
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and source system owners to resolve data quality issues as appropriate
  • Creating complex models leading to actionable insights while testing, refining, and validating models
  • Evaluating and summarizing data results, creating summary statistics, and designing data reports and visualizations
  • Reporting to stakeholders on key findings and identifying needs for additional reporting solutions
  • Preparing comprehensive documentation and providing user training and support as appropriate

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction or real estate; business, finance, information management, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data analysis or related field
  • Thoughtful process of analyzing data and problem-solving skills to reach well-reasoned solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues
  • Ability to draw own conclusions, articulate positions, communicate key messages, and make recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional manner and computer literacy
  • Excellent presentation skills using MS PowerPoint and other related programs
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while handling multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with construction project data analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling and advanced analytics techniques
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms
  • Experience with database management and data integration processes
  • Background in developing automated reporting solutions
  • Understanding of construction industry metrics and key performance indicators

Location: Onsite

Estimated total compensation for this position:

75,000.00 - 90,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
