Job Summary

The Vice President, Downstream (Commercial) Marketing is a senior executive leader responsible for developing and executing Masimo's global commercial marketing strategy. This role drives the growth and adoption of Masimo's portfolio by translating product value into compelling customer experiences, shaping go-to-market initiatives, and enabling commercial teams to achieve business objectives. The VP partners closely with Sales, Product Management, Clinical, and Regional Marketing teams to ensure successful product launches, brand positioning, and market penetration across all geographies and customer segments.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead the development and execution of global downstream marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, market share, and customer engagement for Masimo's products and solutions.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of go-to-market plans for new product launches, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and seamless execution across regions.
  • Develop compelling value propositions, messaging, and marketing campaigns tailored to diverse customer segments, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare systems.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Clinical, and Regional Marketing teams to ensure consistent brand positioning, effective sales enablement, and feedback-driven marketing initiatives.
  • Drive market intelligence and customer insights programs to inform marketing strategies, identify growth opportunities, and address competitive threats.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness, ROI, and impact on business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Manage marketing budgets and resources to maximize impact and efficiency.
  • Represent Marketing on the executive leadership team, providing strategic insights and contributing to overall corporate strategy.
  • Champion digital marketing transformation, leveraging advanced analytics, CRM, and digital platforms to enhance customer engagement and marketing performance.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in commercial marketing, preferably within the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industry, with significant experience in global or multi-regional roles.
  • Proven track record of leading successful product launches, go-to-market strategies, and commercial marketing initiatives that drive revenue and market share growth.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare market dynamics, customer segments, and buying processes.
  • Demonstrated success in building, leading, and developing high-performing marketing teams.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $208,000 - $260,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 30% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.
