Job Summary The Senior Director, Strategy & Business Development is a senior executive leader responsible for shaping and executing the strategic growth agenda for Masimo. This role drives the identification, evaluation, and execution of inorganic and organic growth opportunities-including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic initiatives-to advance Masimo's market leadership and deliver sustainable value. The Senior Director partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to translate strategic vision into actionable business outcomes in a dynamic, global healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of business development strategies, including M&A, partnerships, investments, and new market entry initiatives.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic growth opportunities aligned with Masimo's long-term vision and business objectives.
- Drive the end-to-end deal process, from target identification and due diligence through valuation, negotiation, and integration planning.
- Develop robust business cases and financial models to support strategic recommendations and investment decisions.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and business units to refine corporate strategy and ensure alignment of growth initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive intelligence, and trend forecasting to inform strategic planning and opportunity assessment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners, investment banks, and industry stakeholders to enhance Masimo's external network.
- Lead cross-functional teams during due diligence and post-merger integration, ensuring seamless execution and value realization.
- Present strategic recommendations and business development updates to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in business development, corporate strategy, M&A, or investment banking, preferably within the healthcare, medical device, or life sciences industry.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating, and closing complex transactions.
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare industry and its evolving market dynamics.

Compensation The anticipated salary range for this position is $208,000 - $260,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.
