NTS is hiring Systems Engineer, in the Charlottesville, VA area supporting our prestigious partner in healthcare. Responsibilities Include: Review escalated break-fix incidents and resolve or assign as appropriate using standard ITSM practices. Stays current in latest technology, as it relates to assigned job duties, desktop engineering and management of desktop systems. Review requests for new functionality and upgrades and resolve or assign as necessary using standard ITSM practices. Accurate completion of documentation of work performed in accordance with NTS/client documentation policies (including, but not limited to, timesheets and expense reports). Create and maintain technical knowledgebase articles and/or job aids for both technical and non-technical audiences. Adheres to attendance policy, reports to work on a consistent basis, either in-person or remote as scheduled, using standard callout procedures when needed. Test and make recommendations for planned changes and implementations. Follows assigned client site policies and procedures. Patch and maintain server and desktop systems Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Skills Required: Associate degree, Military Service, and/or 2-3 yrs. exp./training In Information Technology. Must have ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and present information in a clear technical manner. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical manuals and instructions with understanding of concrete and abstract variables. Readiness to learn about new systems and technology. Strong Customer Service and Mechanical Reasoning skills.
