Summary: The American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) Senior Manager is responsible for all aspects of management and financial oversight of the operations of the AJCC. The Senior Manager is responsible for the development, maintenance and promulgation of the AJCC Cancer Staging System. This position is responsible for developing and managing a program budget and multiple federal and non-profit grants and contracts and is responsible for developing business models to disseminate staging content. This position supports multiple committees, specialized work groups, and individual contributors including many ACS Fellows and physician leaders, and serves as an official liaison to multiple committees and organizations on behalf of the AJCC and the College. The Senior Manager is responsible for directing and managing program staff who are responsible for executing tasks and initiatives to support the strategic initiatives and the daily operations of the AJCC. This exempt position will report to the Associate Vice President, Cancer Programs in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote. The anticipated salary range for this position is $132,000- $170,000 (commensurate with related experience). Responsibilities:
