What you will do: As a Marketing Operations Specialist, you will lead the accurate and efficient handling of purchase orders, from initial requisition to final payment for the Global Marketing organization. You will also manage and track the roll up of the global Marketing budget. This role requires exceptional communication skills, organization, tech proficiency, and the ability to anticipate and solve challenges proactively. You will work across teams, gather information and work with leaders across the enterprise to establish global standards and processes. How you will do it: Global Marketing Budget * Track and manage roll up of global Marketing budget * Manage Purchase Order process: setting up vendors in Ariba, processing POs, ensuring vendors are paid * Serve as subject matter expert for Marketing in the PO process and support teams across the Marketing organization * Facilitate CMO and Finance spend tower approvals for all POs across Global Marketing organization * Maintain accurate records of purchase orders and their status * Prepare reports as needed * Work closely with Finance partners to monitor and report on monthly budget status for global function * Analyze data and metrics related to budget to track progress and adjust funding as needed * Support annual budget planning process by building templates, gathering inputs and consolidating global marketing budget asks * Supplier relationship management - ability to teach suppliers or troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise while building strong relationships * Practice due diligence and compliance when it comes to internal processes, invoice approvals, data privacy * Drive and create best practices and potential process improvements * Be the primary link/contact for suppliers by coordinating with various internal departments (Accounts Payable, Supplier Enablement, Procurement, Finance) to ensure a smooth process from end-to-end Marketing Program Management Support * Be liaison and support for the Marketing Automation Platform centralization * Conduct Lead and campaign performance data analysis * Lead and campaign standardization implementation support * Various ad hoc Marketing support as needed What we look for * Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of marketing, finance or operations experience * Exceptional organization and program management skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * PO processing experience, preferrable with the Ariba system * Budget management skills * Ability to influence and motivate teams without direct authority * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment * Data-driven thinker who uses insights and analysis to glean insights and inform decisions * Strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction * Flexibility to learn new platforms, change priorities, and adopt new processes |
