Responsibilities:

As Administrative Nursing Supervisor you will provide onshift leadership, serving as a clinical and operational resource for nursing units and allied health teams. This role coordinates patient flow, supports staffing decisions, and ensures safe, efficient care across the hospital. The supervisor responds to emergencies and critical events, addresses patient and team concerns, and upholds organizational policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives. You will provide coaching, mentorship, and crisis management support, facilitate communication across departments, and act as a liaison with internal and external partners. The House Supervisor may activate and lead Hospital Incident Command until administrative leadership arrives.

  • Leads onshift operations, serving as the primary clinical and administrative resource for the hospital.
  • Manages patient flow and staffing to ensure safe, efficient care across all units.
  • Responds to emergencies, codes, and critical events, providing leadership and coordination.
  • Addresses and resolves concerns from patients, families, providers, and staff.
  • Supports communication, coaching, and crisis management, activating HICS when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associates of Nursing degree from an accredited school
  • NM licensed RN
  • 5 years of relevant experience (acute care-tele or above) and/or leadership nursing experience.
  • BLS
