Overview NaphCare is hiring a Controlled Substance Pharmacy Technician to join our team of medical professionals at our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL. Position hours will be Monday - Friday, 9:00 am CST to 6:00 pm CST. NaphCare Rx is NaphCare's in-house pharmacy dedicated solely to correctional facilities across the country. Connected by our operations management software and EHR, TechCare, NaphCare Rx pharmacists become an integrated, essential part of the clinical team, from electronic medicine orders and secure delivery to pharmacy consultation and review. NaphCare Rx also extends purchasing discounts and cost savings directly to our partners and employees. Under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, the Controlled Substance Pharmacy Technician is responsible for receiving and filling controlled substance prescription requests and completing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Responsibilities Responsibilities of the Controlled Substance Pharmacy Technician:
Use knowledge and expertise to ensure that dispensing processes and systems are followed appropriately according to policies and procedures, company performance and accreditation standards.
