Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent patients.

Job Duties/Responsibilitie:

• Prepares work and time schedules for food service employees
• Orients, trains, supervises disciplines and evaluates all dietary
• Provides supervision to patients who are enrolled in the Educational/Vocational program at Mountain
• Supervises sanitation and housekeeping procedures, maintaining safety and health standards, according to rules and regulations of all concerned licensing
• Plans menus and writing of modified diets according to patterns established by Clinical
• Purchases food supplies, receives deliveries and check receipts against specifications and orders reporting any errors to the vendor and material clerk for adjustment within 24
• Maintains or improves standards of food preparation and service as evidenced by improved food
