What you'll be doing: You will be a critical enabler of large deals for Global Integrated Solutions (GIS), managing early-stage funnel growth. Your primary objective will be to develop incremental new revenue opportunities into 'win-ready' pursuits. You will collaborate closely with core sales leaders, the wider GIS organization, marketing, and partners to drive significant growth. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborate with core sales leaders to identify, shape, and accelerate large, strategic opportunities, ensuring early-stage deals are matured and qualified 'win-ready' to pursuit leaders.
  • Manage an early-stage GIS pipeline of approximately $250m, with accountability for progressing $100m TCV of qualified opportunities annually into formal pursuit.
  • Drive proactive sourcing and development of large deals through close partnership with core sales, GIS leadership, marketing, partners, and global advisor networks to expand the large deal pipeline.
  • Lead structured opportunity qualification to ensure alignment with GIS strategy, solution capabilities, and client priorities.
  • Support and strengthen engagement with global sourcing advisors to drive visibility, influence sourcing outcomes, and create new large-deal opportunities aligned to GIS growth priorities.
  • Provide actionable market, client, and competitive insights to inform deal strategy and targeting, enhancing the quality and velocity of large deal origination.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and provide timely, data-driven reporting to GIS and Sales leadership to inform investment, resourcing, and strategic planning decisions.
What we're looking for: You have the ability to drive results at all levels, regardless of reporting structures, and have a proven record of performance and trusted professional credibility. You are someone who has excellent verbal and written communication skills and is comfortable working up and across the organization. You are a strategic thinker whose work results in new ideas that drive the business forward. You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in business development and sales of large multi-tower solutions at the level of $25M TCV and above.
  • Strong communications skills with some Marketing experience.
  • Experience coaching sales teams on best practices and strategic selling.
  • Ability to create a position of advantage for Verizon Business through ecosystem relationships.
  • Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • A degree in business or Master's degree or MBA or advanced degree.
  • Proven track record of increasing deal flow and new opportunities through customer and ecosystem relationships.
  • Experience working in a tier-1 management consulting or sourcing advisory organization.
  • Experience coaching senior leadership and experts on external advisor engagement.
Where you'll be working

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $128,000.00 - $223,000.00.
