| Description The Salvation Army Mission Statement: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. BASIC PURPOSE The Program Aide is responsible for assisting leaders and staff of the Chico Community Center in providing safe and developmentally appropriate programs for youth. Under the supervision and direction of the Commanding Officer, the Program Aide is responsible for assisting in creating a safe, enriching, and fun environment for youth in the program various programs.
