Job Description

As a member of the Client Platforms product team, the successful candidate is responsible for strategizing and executing on client experience initiatives for our suite of product platforms at Visa. Projects this person will manage include improving the onboarding experience on Visa Developer and other product platforms, leading special projects, and improving capabilities and processes.

However, we aren't just looking for the average product manager. Since this person will work with stakeholders like technology, design, product, sales, client services, compliance and more, we need someone who can find problems and execute on solving them. That means pushing teams to think client and admin first (user-first) to make an impact across all products to help Visa become the first choice in payments innovation.

In order to do that, we need someone who can not only write requirements, manage a backlog, support technology as they build, but influence leaders and other product teams along the way. That means juggling lots of projects at once, creating amazing presentations, talking to all levels of the organization, selling teams on the work, and pushing teams to do things differently. Of course, that means execution, but having a hunger to always learn, deliver beyond what was asked, and staying agile as the work changes, and projects are delivered.

Specifically, the product manager will:

  • Lead projects aimed at experience re-design initiatives by partnering with sales, client services, technology and design teams to create delightful and engaging experiences.

  • Gather and launch detailed business requirements and translate the needs to technology for development.

  • Manage a backlog of work, and translate experience needs from our supporting teams.

  • Partner with Sales on day-to-day support with contracts and fee schedules.

  • Apply strategic thinking to ensure our platform meets our internal and external clients' needs.

  • Partner collaboratively with cross functional teams to deliver the roadmap and ensure partner success. Own key projects like automation of tools, platform consolidation, and digital onboarding process automation.

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and proficiency with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

You will work closely with Technology to:

  • Discuss and develop technology requirements based on translated business requirements and user experience needs

  • Build, test and launch new features

  • Participate in user acceptance testing

  • Own and articulate the backlog of work needed of the technology team

  • Prioritize feature delivery for each release

You will work closely with Client Services and Sales to:

  • Identify problems and build solutions that solve internal and external stakeholder needs.

  • Look for opportunities for shared services across the entire product suite.

  • Understand user personas and any additional unmet needs for these solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
