Overview

Responsibilities

    Conduct research, analysis, and prepare briefs and Issue Paper packages (justification and cost benefit analysis) for submission in the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Fleet Training Wholeness (FTW) Training pillar (T-pillar) for CSG-4.
  • Develop Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Risk and Mitigation strategies.
  • Create candidate packages for Commander Navy Installation Command (CNIC), Facilities and Tower Program (FATP).
  • Draft training and budget submissions for Combatant Commanders Exercise Engagement and Training Transformation (CE2T2) Program Budget Review, Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) and Unfunded Requirements (UFR).
  • Prepare briefs and participate in Fleet Training Integration Panel (FTIP) and Fleet Training Requirements Management Group (FTRMG) conferences and advocate for CSG-4's validated requirements.
  • Assist in the development of phasing plans to accomplish program work scope within established guidelines
  • Monitor trends in operational proficiency and training/readiness shortfalls to determine where Live Virtual and Constructive (LVC) training improvements are required.
  • Review, update and submit annual Department of the Navy (DoN) Budget Estimate Submissions (BES) for CSG-4, TACTRAGRULANT (TTGL) and Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Atlantic (EWTGL)
  • Identify future resource shortfalls based on evolving training requirements.
  • Perform Analysis of Alternatives to satisfy identified training gaps and recommend potential solutions.
  • Assist Government personnel in the development of Fleet Training Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) Training cost analysis and assessments.
  • Quickly and accurately source reference documentation to demonstrate proper staffing of required documents.
  • Participate in and organize meetings and compile meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate with LVC stakeholders and the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) offices for fiscal year planning and installation of required systems.
  • Work collaboratively with Requirements and LVC representatives in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Represent CSG-4 in meetings and conferences with government representatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Active Secret clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
  • At least 3+ years of experience in:
    • Fleet training, planning an execution
    • Working with all phases of exercise/training event planning
    • Working on issues that affect integrated training on various Navy platforms
    • Working with Microsoft Office products


Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $67,800.00/Yr. - USD $113,200.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
