Position Summary:

The Sales Account Leader 2 receives orders and performs the order fulfillment process for specific customers or lines of business. Specializes in specific product lines for accounts where sales relationship with customers' needs to be built or maintained to/with an effective level of satisfaction and/or to correct decline in existing relationship; maintains job contracts from aerospace and industrial establishments for manufacture of company products across specific product lines; and works with sales associate team to meet customer needs through order fulfillment process.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manages the life cycle of assigned customer accounts.
  • Reviews of sales contracts, quotations, and purchase orders for meaning and impact on Organization regarding profitability, liability, export compliance, economic risk, and factors affecting customer/company relationship.
  • Prepares price quotations or bids based on material and labor costs and manufacturing schedules and processes.
  • Support in the leadership of sales associates and/or other sales administrative personnel to build and maintain a strong customer service relationship with the customer as possible
  • Communicates the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Partners with sales associates and/or other sales administrative team to build and maintain a strong customer service relationship with the customer.
  • Inputs data and other related information for current and new customers into computer database.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries, basic contract language interpretation, and returns.
  • Support in updating customer portals as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent Communication both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated relationship building and negotiating skills.
  • Understanding planning techniques and BOM structures.
  • Self-motivated, goal driven, proactive and works for results.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.

Required Experience:

  • Proven account management or other relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Fluent with the MS Office suite
  • 2-3 years of experience in aerospace account management

Level of Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business, finance, engineering, science, or related field of study

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $77,600 to $116,400 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1.25X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
