Program Manager, Principal

Your Work

The Pharmacy Performance team is a shared services team supporting Pharmacy Strategy and Operations in a variety of functions including, but not limited to, program and project management, contract management, vendor management, pharmacy readiness and incident management, pharmacy infrastructure, and pharmacy compliance. The Program Manager, Principal will report to the Director of Pharmacy Performance. This position will support the Clinical Pharmacy Program by ensuring that initiatives are aligned to strategic goals, the operating model is optimized, and excellent performance metrics are achieved by the program and its related vendors. This position works closely with the Sr. Director of Clinical Pharmacy Programs to drive the planning and implementation of initiatives to enhance the program offering and expand adoption of existing services. Working in a matrixed environment, the Program Manager, Principal will manage programs from initiation through delivery and provide ongoing oversight of vendor performance and operations for continuous improvement.

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge of health care operations and broad understanding of the industry.
• Knowledge of health plan quality measures including NCQA HEDIS and Medicare STAR required.
• Subject matter expert in sophisticated, best-practices organizational development, process improvement or project management processes.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to successfully interact with all levels of management.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and program evaluation.
