Your Work

The Pharmacy team provides pharmacy benefit management services and strategies to support Blue Shield affordability and membership goals. The Principal Program Manager, Pharmacy Programs will report to the Sr. Manager, Pharmacy Programs. In this role you will support pharmacy programs and project management for all lines of business. Your Knowledge and Experience



  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience
  • Possesses excellent presentation, verbal and written skills with ability to understand and convey complex ideas to audience with diverse backgrounds
  • Health plan and pharmacy operation experience for Commercial, Medicare and/or Individual Exchange highly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacy benefit operations, contract management, and client implementation preferred
  • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within an area
  • Must function extremely well in a face-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
