Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level OSP Fiber Inspector to join our team in Columbus, OH. This is a great opportunity for individuals with utility locating or similar field experience who are looking to transition into fiber optic infrastructure inspection. You will be responsible for visiting construction sites to ensure that fiber installation work meets company standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities: * Travel to various construction sites to observe and document fiber optic installation activities. * Ensure construction crews are adhering to project specifications and safety standards. * Take clear and accurate photos of work progress and completed installations. * Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports to construction managers. * Communicate effectively with field crews and internal teams to resolve issues as they arise. Qualifications: * Previous experience in utility locating, construction inspection, or related field work preferred. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical guidelines. * Basic understanding of OSP fiber construction is a plus (training will be provided). * Comfortable working outdoors and traveling locally to multiple sites daily. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
