Position Description

The Facilities Associate will be responsible for facilities maintenance and equipment repair. The Engineer will also be responsible for escorting and managing outside contractor while on site. The incumbent should be skilled to perform a variety of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical repair work. The position will have the responsibilities and duties listed below and will report directly to the Facilities Engineering Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Perform inspection, adjustment, preventive maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment, boilers, water pumps, chillers, air conditioning units, exhaust fans, air filters, compressors, cooling towers, and RO water system

- Perform general facility repairs.

- Read, interpret and understand sketches, diagrams, blueprints and CAD

- Assist in the performance of preventive maintenance activities, and the maintenance of related records and Work orders

- Perform other related duties and responsibilities, as required


Position Requirements

- Minimum 5+ years Facility Maintenance experience in a Manufacturing, Hospital, or Commercial setting

- Licensed third Class Stationary Engineers or higher preferred

- Universal CFC certified

- Knowledgeable in OSHA, NEC, and Life Safety codes.

- Experienced with water treatment and RO systems

- Experienced in Building Automation systems (BMS) experience

- Knowledgeable of Lean Methodology

- Knowledgeable of GMP requirements

- Experienced with BMRAM maintenance work order software is a plus


Personal Requirements

- Well organized with attention to details

- Ability to tackle multiple tasks simultaneously, without losing focus or attention on anyone; not afraid to ask for help when needed

- Self-motivated, with "ownership thinking" perspective applied to decision making

- Good organizational skills

The estimated base salary range for this position is $52,000 - $62,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes a bonus plan and generous benefits.
