This Grant Officer will be working in our Office of Sponsored Programs as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of Hospital research departments, divisions, and/or programs. Reviews and endorses research applications for submission to federal, state, foundation, and other nonprofit Sponsors. Accepts awards on behalf of Hospital. Issues, receives, and negotiates subaward agreements to and from collaborating institutions. Administers policies and procedures to ensure the conduct and administration of assigned sponsored programs are in compliance with all applicable Sponsor, government, and Hospital regulations, requirements, and policies. Counsels Hospital research administrative staff regarding proposal preparation, interpretation of sponsor guidelines, regulations, and problem resolution. Serves as the primary interface with federal and nonprofit Sponsors and with peer institutions collaborating with BCH investigators. This is a central office position. Key Responsibilities
