This position will be a part of the UAW union moving forward. Reporting to the Basic Needs Housing Specialist, the Rapid Rehousing Coordinator independently provides a range of support services for Basic Needs at UC San Diego. The incumbent conducts case intake, intervention, and makes referrals related to housing insecurity. The Rapid Rehousing Case Manager provides coordination of Emergency Housing Services and community outreach efforts to UC San Diego students/staff to foster an ecosystem of housing security resources. The Rapid Rehousing Case Manager will be responsible for supporting efforts in the Off-Campus Housing Office within The Hub Basic Needs Center including: outreach, data management, one to one student support, and the development of program materials to provide off-campus housing information/guides in collaboration with campus partners. The Rapid Rehousing Coordinator will provide support in facilitating housing security workshops/webinars, as well as one to one guidance for students looking for stable housing. Using professional student services theories and concepts, performs a limited range of duties and responsibilities within a Student Life program. Works independently to provide information and interpretation of clearly defined policies, procedures, and regulations. Receives direction regarding more complex issues and/or program(s). Identifies individual student needs for programs and services and advises on appropriate programs and resources. This position will be a part of the UAW union moving forward. QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $53,800 - $91,000 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $25.77 - $43.58 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
