TSC is seeking a highly motivated Director of Operations to lead the integration of common processes, capabilities, and infrastructure across its four main P&L divisions. This role will focus on aligning engineering practices, risk and configuration management, quality systems, and integrated tools and workflows. Serving as a key liaison between corporate and divisions, the Director will drive improvements in metrics, dashboards, and data integration to enhance communication and alignment with senior leadership.

The position requires strong collaboration across corporate and division leadership to streamline operations and accelerate decision-making. Reporting directly to the COO, this role is also responsible for maintaining and presenting key performance metrics to Executive Leadership and the Board. This position may be performed remotely, with up to 25% travel required.

Responsibilities to anticipate:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of standardized engineering processes, configuration management, and centralized quality systems across all TSC divisions.
  • Drive long-term strategies for process optimization, workflow streamlining, and technology integration to enhance business performance and efficiency.
  • Oversee corporate-level risk mitigation strategies, program reviews, and support the Corporate Program Management Office in aligning division efforts with enterprise goals.
  • Collaborate with BD and Finance to support AOP planning, revenue and profit forecasting, and budget preparation. Maintain key metrics including pricing, profitability, and production efficiency.
  • Develop and present operational success metrics and dashboards for executive and board-level reporting. Monitor and refine performance indicators to track business health and strategic outcomes.
  • Supervise cross-functional teams, set and monitor quarterly goals, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement in line with TSC's values.
  • Serve as a liaison between corporate leadership and divisions, clearly communicating risks, performance, and strategic updates. Partner closely with the COO to keep the company informed and aligned.

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Engineering or Business with 16+ years of experience in the defense or intelligence sector (preferably managing hardware/software programs)
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance
  • Strong communication skills, including presenting financial data to diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines independently and manage competing priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Skilled in collaborative problem solving and complex team environments
  • Experience with government budgeting and accounting practices
  • Knowledge of full product lifecycle management (R&D through O&M)
  • Self-starter with leadership experience and customer-facing expertise
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or PMP
  • Experience in developing formal government proposal responses and pricing
  • Experience using customer relationship management tools
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint and financial reporting tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data
  • Experience in government contract financials and the Defense industry
