As a Plan Advisor Representative for UMR, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our members and their families each day. They will look to you as their trusted advisor and advocate. You will be empowered to compassionately deliver an exceptional experience, always remembering that there is a real person on the other end of the phone seeking help, guidance, and support. You will assist them in understanding and making informed decisions about their care services, addressing their needs from start to finish. This includes answering their questions, resolving outstanding issues, scheduling appointments, or helping them enroll in and select a health care plan. Here, you will join us on a mission to deliver the best customer service in the health care industry. Your compassion and customer service expertise, combined with our support, training, and development, will ensure your success. This position is full-time (40 hours/week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer 10 weeks of paid training (depending on business needs). The hours during training will be 8:00 am - 4:30 PM CST from Monday - Friday. Within 6-8 months after the initial training, you will attend an additional 5 weeks of training. 100% attendance during training is mandatory. Training will be conducted virtually from your home. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
