Under the direction of the Resident Director: maintain, improve and protect facilities, natural landscapes and systems that benefit and support on-going research and teaching programs at the scenic and biologically rich 9000-acre Granite Mountains Desert Research Center (GMDRC). These include structures, utilities, vehicles, roads, trails, fences, and other infrastructure. Assist with other daily operational aspects of the GMDRC, such as user management and administration, patrolling, purchasing, museum curation, and facilitating events and meetings.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. The full salary range for the Building Maintenance Worker SR is $24.13 - $31.84 per hour. The expected pay scale is up to $31.13 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. | |
