Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a competitive Senior Sales Development Manager! The Senior Sales Development Manager (Sr. SDM) as a member of the Editron division is responsible for the development of Electrification sales with the Editron portfolio. We are searching for a disciplined, decisive, detail oriented, polished, driven-to-win individual who has the natural ability to lead a team.

Job Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:
* Responsible for Electrification sales with EDITRON products and solutions
* Be the expert and primary contact person for electrification for the DPS Sales & Marketing team
* Lead Distribution including Pipeline Planning, Pipeline Qualification, Customer Forecasting and, build Successful Win Plans
* Selling within your region through your assigned accounts and sales channel(s)
* The right candidate will come with a strong combination of naturally building relationships with an engineer's know-how.
* A successful SDM will understand how to navigate complex matrixed organizations
* Collaborate with DPS sales to achieve Topline Revenue Growth Targets.
* Negotiate and Execute commercial proposals
* Poses deep knowledge of Danfoss products to intern secure manufacturing awards
* Collaborate with distribution partners and their corresponding sales organizations to support business development and revenue growth.
* Master business tools including SAP, 1CRM, and Salesforce.
* Host customer events such as QBR's, BRM's, industry tradeshows and more to promote EDITRON product portfolios
* Address customer and Editron's internal needs head-on and in a timely fashion.
* The role will demand a strong level of conscientiousness and a need to be inherently decisive
* Collect and consolidate product requirements for the BU product management and R&D teams (PDP front-end/VoC).
* Frequent collaboration with product, R&D, and production teams in the Americas.
* Willingness to travel (Americas primarily with limited global travel) up to 50%

Background & Skills

Background/Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical engineering preferred) or a degree in another field with a combination of extensive work experience in relevant fields.
* 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, and a customer-oriented mindset
* Channel sales / channel partner management experience preferred
* Direct OEM sales experience preferred
* Experience in On-Highway and Off-Highway equipment (e.g. construction machines), Commercial Vehicles, Direct OEM, or other relevant business preferred
* Experience in electric drive systems, microgrids, batteries, motor control, power conversion and/or electromobility will be an asset
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
* Passion for Electrification
