The Sr Manager, Co-Manufacturing Quality & Operations is a leader in establishing process control and sets process & quality standards on the product portfolio. He/her gets samples made, organized, stored and shipped for cuttings, maintains library of CTQ, trains and conducts sensory cuttings. In addition, the Sr. Manager becomes an expert in his/her field and has a guiding role in other processes required for commercializing these products including attending commercialization and process audits. This role reports to the VP of Operations.

Responsibilities



  • Set and maintain process standards regarding dough temperature, hydration, dough handling and fermentation.
  • Maintain manufacturing and process specification records for all SKU's and implement potential changes based on the artisan bread principles.
  • Work with FSQA and R&D teams on initial approvals and evaluating Finished Good Oven-Visual Aid Guides and determine corrective action for off- target product.
  • Develop location training manual for bakery operators.
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for food and innovation.
  • Consult and ensure process compliance with projects including product development, process improvements, special projects and technical innovation improvements.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully, develop alternative solutions.
  • Pursue training and development opportunities; strive to continuously build knowledge and skills; share expertise with others.
  • Responsible for sample inventory control and proper storage
  • Responsible for ingredient/packaging inventory and storage
  • Responsible for sample shipments and maintenance of shipping and receiving records for the lab.
  • Supports team members with line trials when necessary.
  • Maintain high level of knowledge regarding market trends and new ingredient opportunities through attending industry seminars, continuing education, trade shows, industry periodicals, and professional technical/culinary associations.
  • Knowledge of Aspire Bakeriesproduct offerings.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree; culinary education or relevant industry experience strongly preferred.



  • Exceptional command of English (both verbal and written); Spanish fluency highly desirable.



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).



  • Familiarity with SAP and Genesis systems.



  • Working knowledge of OEC Graphics, Discovery, SharePoint, and related platforms.



  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 35%; occasional international travel as required.





Salary Range:$95,000 - $125,000
