Job Description

As part of our machinist group, you will perform a variety of functions related to the operation of our SMT production line including stencil print, SMT equipment setup and teardown, reflow and inline inspection. Demonstrating professionalism, leadership, and initiative in your daily activities, with excellent inter-personal and communication skills both oral and written, will help you excel in this critical role.

This position is 2nd shift, work hours are on a 9/80 schedule, 2:30pm-12:00am, M-Th, and 2:30-11:00pm every other Friday.

You will be responsible for:



  • Moderately complex surface mount manufacturing processes utilizing both automated equipment and hand assembly.
  • Install, assemble, and inspect electronic components during product assembly, per documented work instructions.
  • Interpreting job routers, written instructions and drawings.
  • Performing a variety of inspections to ensure assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards.
  • Performing pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts.



Required Qualifications:



  • Typically 3+ years of electronics assembly
  • Must be able to read and follow assembly instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics units at the circuit card and product level
  • Should be familiar with Stencil Print, Pick-and-Place, Inspection and Reflow equipment
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs
  • High School Diploma or GED


Preferred Qualifications:



  • SMT experience preferred
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multitask
  • IPC-610 preferred
