Core Responsibilities:



  • Manages the Valve Pin Department and the Polishing Department at Manner USA Inc.
  • Has total control of the day-to-day operations of both departments.
  • Assigns work to the employees in each department and is responsible for finishing all work orders in time and for the final quality of the manufactured components.
  • Manages seven employees and schedules the workload for direct reports.
  • Responsible for the manufacturing equipment used to produce all valve pins, capacity planning, and keeping lead times.
  • Responsible for ensuring that components manufactured in both departments fulfill quality requirements.
  • Makes decisions on all personnel and equipment, making sure scheduled workloads are finished in time and passing all quality requirements.
  • Makes decisions to source work to outside contractors to accommodate timelines.
  • Works directly with corporate HR and local management on topics like personnel, equipment, and quality and cost control.



Qualifications:



  • The position requires a High School Diploma, Toolmaker / Molding Technology Certification, five (5) years of experience in the same role, or as a Machinist, Machine Operator, or in a related role.
  • The position requires experience with the following: hot runner technologies; blueprint reading; CNC equipment; ERP systems; working with the metric system; performing a leadership role in a manufacturing environment; strong organizational and time management abilities; and strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Must be bilingual in English and German.
  • Will accept vocational High School Diploma equivalency from a reputable credentials evaluation service.



Education Requirements:



  • High School Diploma or GED - Required.
