Summary
As an Esthetician at LVPG Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, you'll provide professional skin care treatments and services designed to enhance clients' appearance and comfort. You'll assess skin conditions, recommend skincare regimens, perform facials and advanced treatments, and educate clients on proper home care to help them achieve healthy, glowing skin.

Job Duties

  • Consults with clients and patients about skincare programs and assists with choosing individual and appropriate care. Educates patients on skincare and other products.
  • Schedules appointments and answers phone calls/emails. Maintains accurate information in patient records/database and obtains before and after pictures.
  • Orders supplies for skincare and products and keeps an inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Sustains a healthy professional relationship with clients, staff, and physicians. Maintains patient, staff, and physician office confidentiality at all times.
  • Visits with pre/post-operative facial surgical patients for skin preparation, necessary education, prescriptions, and post-care for external facial ultrasound treatments and emotional support.
  • Maintain treatment room cleanliness and sterilize tools per state board and OSHA guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Specialized Diploma Completion of an accredited esthetics program.
  • 1 year Experience within a medical practice, salon, or spa.
  • Familiarity with facial equipment (e.g. microdermabrasion machines, LED light therapy).
  • Esthetician License - State Board of Cosmetology Upon Hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and high aesthetic standards with exceptional interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Sales-oriented with the ability to build rapport and client loyalty with professional demeanor and a passion for skincare wellness.

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
