Security Officer - Armed Gate Patrols

As a Security Officer - Armed Gate Patrols in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer at this retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for customers and staff. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and innovation.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior or unauthorized access and report security-related incidents according to site protocols.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors with questions or concerns while maintaining a visible presence.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Security Officer certification is required for Texas roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
