Job Description

You will work with a dedicated team to lead us in improving embedded hardware quality across multiple products for Rockwell Automation. You will be collaborative, partnering with multi-discipline teams to establish and guide quality goals throughout our multiple portfolios. You will build working relationships across product management, program management and engineering partners. You will provide ongoing visibility of progress to established goals through the collection, organization, and analysis of product and project data. We ask that you have experience in hardware development environments and an understanding of hardware Quality Management. You will also have interactions with internal and external customers. You will report to the Team Lead of Product Quality - LVD & LCS.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations and make recommendations to ensure corrective and preventive actions address systemic root causals and eliminates repeats.
  • Demonstrate partnerships with peers, leaders, and partners.
  • Collaborate with global locations (Examples: Shanghai, Singapore, Monterrey, Richland Center)
  • Implement metrics and dashboards to provide ongoing visibility to quality goals.
  • Lead process improvement efforts that move systemic improvements in quality and customer issue resolution.
  • Participate in retrospectives for continuous improvement of products and processes.
  • Promote development and tracking of action items.
  • Read and interpret technical product documentation with understanding of product usage within customer application and environment.
  • Problem-solving skills to improve performance results.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years in quality, manufacturing or field service engineering.
  • Improve results with a team within a complex matrix organization.
  • Problem-solving skills to improve performance results.
