Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Financial Operations Manager with a focus on AR, Cash and Compliance. This is a hands-on role. They are looking for a proactive leader to manage and team. This is a key role within the organization, leading and working with key stakeholders. The client is open to a manager who has had AR and Treasury fall under them, an AR manager who wants to learn Treasury or a Treasury Manager who wants to learn AR. Essential Functions:

Oversee and hand on involvement with the day-to-day management of the Accounts Receivable department to ensure timely and accurate invoices, collections, cash applications and agent commissions. This includes but is not limited to, aging, KPIs, reconciliations, cash applications, billing discrepancies and reporting within a multi-system environment.

Manage daily cash flow operations. This includes but is not limited to cash forecasting, bank account management, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues related to cash and banking transactions, and bank reconciliations.

Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual premium and surplus lines tax filings, review of tax support and filings with 3rd party vendor, review of reconciliations, monthly and quarterly reporting, including premium tax calculations for year-end accruals.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to assist with audits and maintain documentation for external audits.
Lead, develop, and mentor a team of professionals in the Treasury, Accounts Receivable, and Compliance departments.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance in a must.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
